Dan is the employment & skills development manager, and oversees the running of The Works on a day-to-day basis, as well as being involved in recruiting for University of Manchester jobs, and training academies.
Dan has been at The Works for just over 2 years, but has worked in the employment and training industry for over 10 years.
Dan said “The works is a truly unique provision, and helps people of all ages and from all walks of life into training and jobs. Its really nice to be able to work in, and offer a relaxed and welcoming environment for people. I get a real sense of job satisfaction when I see our clients and realise their potential, and can help them get a job”
When Dan isn’t at The Works, he enjoys walking in the Lake District and spending time with family and friends.

Sanj is our resident benefits advisor, and can help with Job Seekers Allowance, Universal Credit, Universal Jobmatch, and much more.

When he isn’t at work, Sanj is a very popular wedding DJ, and can often be found helping newly-weds to dance the night away after their big day.

Tracey is the Works’ full time Advice & Guidance specialist, offering careers, skills and employment advice. Tracey has a wealth of knowledge and experience from her 14 years as a careers adviser.
Tracey said “The Works has its own unique environment. No two days are the same, and there is always a great buzz about the place. I really enjoy working with everyone who comes here”
When she isn’t working Tracey she relaxes by baking all manner of great things, and regularly treats us to samples!

Chelsea is The Works full time Administrator and Project Co-ordinator and has been with us for 4 years. Before this Chelsea worked in customer services.
Chelsea said “I love working here. No two days are the same, and we get some really great people coming to use the centre and take advantage of all the opportunities”

When she isn’t at The Works, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and jetting off to Spain on holiday.
Paula is one of the team of Administrators/Receptionists at The Works and has been with us for 18 months. She is one of the friendly faces that will greet you when you come to visit.
Paula’s previous jobs as a Personal Assistant means that she is super organised, and prepared for anything. She is also a dab hand at CV writing!
When she isn’t organising everyone and everything at The Works she enjoys time in her garden and cruising around the Caribbean.
